The first "wine bank" in Switzerland opened at the Hotel Bären in Wilderswil on Thursday, October 22, 2015. In the "rustic" wine cellar of the hotel Bären , customers can rent their own wine lockers to store their personal wines and always have them available.
A total of 21 wine lockers are available. The wine compartments are located in the historic, over 300-year-old vaulted cellar of the Hotel Bären in Wilderswil. Customers can store their personal wines there in their own wine compartment, taste them on site in the cozy atmosphere of the wine cellar with business partners, family and friends or enjoy them with a fine meal in the restaurant. The offer is aimed at companies and private wine lovers who not only want to have good wines available at all times, but also want to enjoy them in a suitable ambience. Tenants of wine cellars can use the infrastructure of the traditional wine cellar free of charge and meet business partners, family or friends in an exceptional atmosphere.
